Linen
Flax is a sustainable fiber: its cultivation requires minimal resources, almost no irrigation (99.9%, source: CELC), and contributes to soil improvement. It is also a locally grown crop: 3/4 of the world's flax production takes place in Europe, spanning from Caen to Amsterdam. Additionally, flax is a "zero waste" plant as every part of the fiber can be recycled.
To the best of our ability, the linen fabrics used by agnès b. are Masters of Linen® certified. This label ensures high-quality linen, with every step of production and processing traceable, from European Flax® fiber to thread and fabric.
