Born in 1980 in Lyon, François Prost studied graphic design in Brussels. An artistic director based in Paris, he devotes his free time to photography.

Since 2011, he has toured France and Belgium in his Ford Fiesta to photograph the discotheque façades during the day. These nightclubs, which are still active, show themselves under another face: neon and other sulfurous attributes specific to the nocturnal atmosphere give way to a more standard and less glittered reality. Not without humor and with a touch of nostalgia, the series also aims to pay tribute to the decorative overflows and visual codes carried by these institutions. The After Party photographs series were exhibited at agnès b. in 2018 (book to editions Head Banger Publishing, October 2018).
