taupe hemp and plastic Chelsea boots
These jelly Chelsea boots made from hemp and plastic are produced by Humeau-Beaupreau, a family company founded in 1905. It makes them in its factory located in Beaupreau, in the Maine-et-Loire region, between Nantes and Angers.
The hemp and plastic used for these shoes also comes from French producers, located near to the Beaupreau factory.
Hemp gives the shoes an aged, irregular appearance. It is also a very ecological material as it needs little water to grow, is cultivated without pesticides and grows unusually fast.
Through this collection, agnès b. aims to offer shoes which are not only entirely made in France, but also ecological, sustainable and with a reduced carbon footprint.
