The Smile release their new album Cutouts on XL Recordings

The Smile - Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood and Tom Skinner - performed several Cutouts tracks on The Smile's UK tour in March. Cutouts features 10 new tracks and is produced by Sam Petts-Davies. It is the band's third studio album, following Wall of Eyes, released in January, and the trio's debut album, A Light For Attracting Attention, released in 2022. Cutouts was recorded in Oxford and Abbey Road Studios during the same period as Wall Of Eyes. The album features string arrangements by the London Contemporary Orchestra and the cover was painted during recording by Stanley Donwood and Thom Yorke.

This is The Smile's second studio album in less than a year. In January, Wall Of Eyes reached number three on the UK album charts, receiving praise from The Guardian, Evening Standard, The Independent, MOJO, Uncut and NME who called it "the best album of the year so far".

The Smile release their new album Cutouts on XL Recordings this Friday 4th October.

Broadcast Interpol Antics on Matador records

Interpol has announced The Twentieth Anniversary Edition of the album "Antics" - featuring the band's legendary 2005 concert at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City, as well as a 30-page book featuring photographs from the "Antics" era. In 2004 agnès b was a partner in the release of Antics and for the occasion a series of 4 artist t-shirts by Shepard Fairey representing the members of Interpol was created and presented in a mini exhibition in our Parisian boutique on rue Beaurepaire.

Collectif Sin "Haut la vache, le disque des cloches"

"Haut la vache" is a sound exploration album, the testimony of a twilight contemplation and incidentally the second field recording album by collectif_sin~. After "Tour de transmission" (2016) which is the capture of celestial flutes created by the wind rushing into a metal structure at the top of a Pyrenean ridge, we head to Switzerland where the tinkling of cow bells form infinite landscapes for the ears, a metallic tide that sways along the green grass that you can listen to on side A, while on side B you will discover a remix of the bells by collectif_sin~. Get on the bus and long live the cows!

Kiosque Versions on Bureau B

Parisian by choice Detlef Weinrich aka Tolouse Low Trax turns the page again. Always willing for a new episode, notion, impulse, idea, ideal. Searching for some light out there. Now Kiosque Versions, a compilation compiled by himself, featuring seven edits by friends and treasured artists. They renew some rare TLT tunes, as well as hits, that never took the charts by storm. Among his influences, we can cite Terry Riley, Philippe Glass, Hiroshi Yoshimura as well as François de Roubaix, Jean-Jacques Perrey or Pierre Bastien.
