What are you wearing today?
I’m wearing straight-cut raw jeans and leather ankle boots. My bag is a large tote — it’s been with me everywhere since I started freelancing! The rings on my left hand belonged to my grandmother. I also added a light agnès b. jacket, t-shirt, and scarf to complete the outfit.
Why did you choose these piece from the brand?
They’re impeccably tailored — that’s the most important thing in a piece, in my opinion. I also love modern takes on classic styles, and agnès b. is the best at that!
How did you put this look together?
I like understated outfits, but I love playing with textures. I thought the leather jacket would be a nice echo of my boots, and the striped t-shirt adds a bit of liveliness. I never say no to an accessory — it can instantly transform a look. The little scarf adds the perfect finishing touch. I’m not an impulsive shopper; I always take forever to decide. I have to love it today and future-me has to love it too. I don’t like shopping — it stresses me out. Trends change too quickly, and you end up losing your sense of self. I stick to a few trusted brands, the ones that have never let me down. agnès b. is one of them. I’ll never have the trendiest pieces, but I love my wardrobe because everything in it was chosen with care.
What’s your connection to agnès b.?
My mother used to dress me in agnès b. when I was a child — the brand is iconic to me! I had the Lézard t-shirts, I wore them all the time! I lost one in Tahiti — I was really sad about it. It’s truly one of my favorite brands. I love that, like me, she’s stayed true to her style for years, without chasing fashion trends. For me, it’s a precious brand that represents France. And most of the pieces are timeless.
