TARA OCEAN

'La Grande Expédition': an immersive exhibition by the Tara Ocean Foundation at #104Paris

13 november 2024

Through the gaze of more than 40 artists, the Tara Ocean Foundation and 104 Paris are exploring the environmental and societal issues linked to the Ocean, through an exhibition that reveals the preciousness and fragility of the largest ecosystem on Earth.

'La Grande Expédition' exhibition invites audiences to embark on a voyage of discovery and awareness, showcasing the creations - paintings, sculptures, photographs, sound installations, etc. - completed as part of the artistic residencies spent on the schooner Tara.

Among them, Renata Padovan, Yann Bagot, Robertina Šebjanic and Wilfried N'Sondé tackle the themes of marine biodiversity, climate change and pollution. Each of them expresses the current ocean issues, in their own way, through a blend of visual poetry and scientific commitment, in a bid to raise public awareness.
