It's an extension of her love of photography: Agnès likes her photos to come to life on clothes.

She spoke about it in L'Oeil magazine in 2006: "I've been taking photos for a very long time. I started with black and white: shots of family and friends. Then I moved on to color and landscapes. For the past 5 years, I've been making short films, notably of my clothing collections. I've also printed some of my photos depicting rainy landscapes, Ireland, Venice, on my clothes, which I consider to be other vehicles for art.".

Florence Ben Sadoun obviously touched on this lovely habit in the book she wrote with Agnès, agnès b. styliste (La Martinière, 2016). "With Agnès, everything is possible, everything is a source of inspiration. All she has to do is open her eyes wide and raise them to the clouds and even beyond, to the moon. All the photographs are from her hand and her blue eyes, taken from her camera, and more often even directly from her phone... all it takes is for Agnès to pick up a camera and an image instantly becomes clothing. Her gaze immortalizes life's unique details. [...] Digital photos have become one of the house's trademarks, accompanying every collection. You'll find them on T-shirts, jackets, skirts, accessories, or even leather, as an essential component of the universe Agnès brings to life.
