With agnès b. since? May 2015
Your first memory related to agnès b.? In 1982. The simultaneous coexistence of shadow and light. The light bursting from deep black.
agnès b. for you? A dandy style language where street art, rock, romanticism, and expressionism come to life. agnès b. is both luminous, poetic, and altruistic.
Your favorite piece from the house? The trapeze dress in 100% cotton or 100% linen, paired with the snap cardigan in its variations of cotton, linen, cashmere, or lambskin leather. The wonders of wonders!
How would you describe the spirit of Paris? Paris awake, Paris Mouffetard, Paris Saint-Germain-des-Prés, where jazz clubs, basement gigs, art galleries, and stray cats intertwine.
It is a city of contrasts: misery and light, solitude and togetherness, where multiple worlds cross paths, where cosmopolitan cultures blend, and where art expresses itself.
Your hobby? It depends on the seasons, the moments; I follow the filament of life with its surprises, its richness, its poetry, without confining myself to any routine or boredom.
A dream? I would rather say perspectives, ideals, or unexpected joys that fade once reached. They can be made of little nothings, fleeting and surprising—like capturing a flower with your eyes and being rejuvenated by its scent. Discovering a high-altitude lake between sky and earth and moving within it, with only the melody of the breeze on the ridges.
