Across Tucker Zimmerman’s over 50-year career, the Belgium-based/US-born octogenarian folk singer-songwriter has maintained a level of obscurity, earning a reputation as one of American folk music’s most underrated talents.

Over the years, Zimmerman has received praise from contemporaries such as 4AD label mate and collaborator, Big Thief’s Adrianne Lenker (who notes, “Tucker Zimmerman is one of the greatest songwriters of all time”) and Angel Olsen, as well as some of the greats, from Tony Visconti to David Bowie (who called Zimmerman “too qualified for folk”).

2024 finds Tucker Zimmerman finally resurfacing with Dance Of Love, his 11th studio album and 4AD debut, on which Big Thief (and collaborators Mat Davidson and Zach Burba) served as his backing band. With the outcome of their efforts, listeners will find a multi-genre'd, heartfelt tracklisting of boot-stomping melodies and transportive meditations from a songwriter who’s had a full and exciting life decorated with meaningful friendships, hard but valuable lessons, worldly experience, and ultimately, lots of love

The Smile release their new album Cutouts on XL Recordings
The Smile - Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood and Tom Skinner - performed several Cutouts tracks on The Smile's UK tour in March. Cutouts features 10 new tracks and is produced by Sam Petts-Davies. It is the band's third studio album, following Wall of Eyes, released in January, and the trio's debut album, A Light For Attracting Attention, released in 2022. Cutouts was recorded in Oxford and Abbey Road Studios during the same period as Wall Of Eyes. The album features string arrangements by the London Contemporary Orchestra and Among his influences, we can cite Terry Riley, Philippe Glass, Hiroshi Yoshimura as well as François de Roubaix, Jean-Jacques Perrey or Pierre Bastien.

Interpol has announced The Twentieth Anniversary Edition of the album "Antics" - featuring the band's legendary 2005 concert at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City, as well as a 30-page book featuring photographs from the "Antics" era. In 2004 agnès b was a partner in the release of Antics and for the occasion a series of 4 artist t-shirts by Shepard Fairey representing the members of Interpol was created and presented in a mini exhibition in our Parisian boutique on rue Beaurepaire.

"Haut la vache" is a sound exploration album, the testimony of a twilight contemplation and incidentally the second field recording album by collectif_sin~. After "Tour de transmission" (2016) which is the capture of celestial flutes created by the wind rushing into a metal structure at the top of a Pyrenean ridge, we head to Switzerland where the tinkling of cow bells form infinite landscapes for the ears, a metallic tide that sways along the green grass that you can listen to on side A, while on side B you will discover a remix of the bells by collectif_sin~. Get on the bus and long live the cows!
