The Galerie du Jour exhibits unpublished photos from the American era of French photographer Bernard Plossu.

This is the story of a (re)discovery, as providential as mysterious. A few years ago, the photographer Bernard Plossu got his hands on 6 old boxes containing more than 860 reels (more than 200 uninventoried prints). All these unpublished images document his American time, between 1966 and 1985, before and after he decided to settle in New Mexico, while exploring the great West of the country.

"These photographs are the itinerary of those years when I stayed there for good, of those endless roads, season after season..." explains the photographer. A selection of these photos are gathered at the Galerie du Jour until May 28th.

Exhibition until May 28, at La Galerie du Jour, Place Jean-Michel Basquiat, Paris 13.
