This year again, agnès b. continues its long running story with the Cannes Festival.
This year, agnès b. has the honour of partnering the Directors' Fortnight. The house will be set up at the Malmaison art centre in Cannes.
About the Directors' Fortnight
The Directors’ Fortnight is an independent sidebar at the Cannes Film Festival, dedicated to showcasing the most singular films by emerging and established filmmakers from all over the world.
Each year, the Directors' Fortnight highlights a selection of some thirty films by directors who demonstrate an innovative cinematographic style, in both fiction and documentary.
The Directors' Fortnight is non-competitive: all works are set on an equal
footing. It can also be characterised by its openness to audiences made up of
non-professionals, its post-screening discussions with filmmakers, and its friendly atmosphere. During the day and in the evening, all the film crews are invited to the Quinzaine Beach, a cozy area to discuss cinema over a drink.
