JITENSHA, is the Japanese word for ‘bicycle’.
JITENSHA is also a French bicycle brand inspired by the Japanese world and lifestyle. Its bicycles are designed, assembled and tested in France, near Annecy. This blend of cultures appealed to agnès b., who teamed up with JITENSHA to mark the 40th anniversary of the agnès b. brand in Japan.
agnès b. and JITENSHA
Through this collaboration, the two houses are offering two bicycle models, one for women (the ‘Paris’ bicycle) and the other for men (the ‘Tokyo’ bicycle). The models, developed by JITENSHA, are customised by agnès b., its logo and its famous black and white stripes.
The ‘Paris’ and ‘Tokyo’ bikes are available in mechanical and electric versions. They can be ordered from selected agnès b. sales outlets stores, in the JITENSHA showroom at 20 Rue de Thorigny, 75003 Paris and on the Jitensha website.
ABOUT JITENSHA
The Japanese art of living has inspired JITENSHA's search for the essential, for purity and elegance, which is the brand's style: sober choices, branding reduced to the essentials, for bikes that are as elegant as they are minimalist.
JITENSHA reflects the belief that the bicycle is, and increasingly will be, a great solution for urban mobility, and a commitment to a sustainable environment, through smaller, more responsible companies.
