The boutique hosts the two award-winning projects from the competition organized by MODART Parisian School.

Since early February and until this Sunday, the women's boutique on Rue du Jour has been showcasing the creations of the winners of the E-Fashion Awards competition. Initiated by MODART School and supported by the brand since 2022, this competition highlights emerging talents in sustainable fashion. Selected from over a hundred participants, the winners of this 2025 edition are Frédéric Gouy, who received the "Revelation for Responsible Fashion" award with his brand Mont Valier and his collection Héritage Pyrénées, and the young duo of fashion design students from MODART School, Garance Lefèbvre and Anthony Cancelmo, who won the "Hope for Responsible Fashion" award with their collection Essentiel. They share their stories.

How is your project structured?
Frédéric : I worked for eight years at Quiksilver, and today, I am a product manager at another brand based in the southwest. I took a management course at IFM with the idea of launching a project connected to my home region, the Pyrenees. Mont Valier was born from this desire to create a ready-to-wear brand using upcycled sheep wool. Our approach is local, eco-responsible, and artisanal.
Garance and Anthony : We met at MODART School and instantly clicked thanks to our shared inspirations. We wanted to go back to the essentials, to something very minimalist and soft while respecting the planet. Our silhouettes are made from pattern paper fabric.

How does it feel to see your project displayed like this?
Frédéric : I feel proud because I have the impression of bringing the Pyrenean territory into a Parisian fashion brand.
Garance and Anthony : We are very happy and proud to have participated in this competition and to see our ideas come to life. Having our creative process and work displayed like this immediately gives it a new dimension.

What is your connection with agnès b.?
Frédéric : I have great respect for agnès b. because she has always promoted French craftsmanship while committing to sustainability—long before it became trendy.
Garance and Anthony : Our mothers and grandmothers wore agnès b. clothing and makeup. It’s a brand that has always been part of our surroundings..

What’s next?
Frédéric : I want to focus more on the reindustrialization of local wool. We still lack the infrastructure to process and give a second life to this wool, which would otherwise be destroyed. I also want to expand my collections and network, gain recognition by establishing my brand in Paris, and perhaps even in Nordic countries.
Garance eand Anthony : We are currently working on our final bachelor’s collections, where we have complete creative freedom to express ourselves. It would be amazing if our collections were highlighted and noticed by industry professionals.
