Agnès loves jeans and playing with denim.

Agnès has always had a special relationship with fabrics. ‘It's one of the most important things for me. It's what makes a garment beautiful and long-lasting’, she explains. Since its beginnings in the 1970s, denim has been one of the fabrics she has loved to use, and helped to democratise. Thanks  their unique quality and no artificial washing, agnès b. jeans live up to the house's values through their craftsmanship and durability!

In 2020, Agnès wanted to make selvedge jeans where they are best made, in Japan, in the Kojima region. The Japanese know-how is inherited from their fascination for American style and vintage machinery they have brought back to produce their own denims and jeans. This video takes us to the heart of the traditional manufacturing process of these denim pieces, recognisable by the red selvedge that finishes the fabric.
